About the club

Gold Wing Club Ukraine brings together owners of the legendary Japanese motorcycle from Honda — the king of luxury touring motorcycles.

The Gold Wing is one of the most comfortable, reliable, safe, and prestigious motorcycles in the world. For more than 30 years it has captured the hearts of thousands of enthusiasts.

Since the early 1980s, owners of this motorcycle began forming clubs. In 1983, the Gold Wing European Federation (GWEF) was established. Ukraine went a long way before becoming a full member of this motorcycle community. Our country was officially accepted into the European Federation of Gold Wing owners on August 16, 2007.

The club is open to all Gold Wing owners, but simply owning the motorcycle is not enough. Members are expected to represent the club and our country with dignity and respect.

A traditional form of communication among Gold Wing owners is the festival known as a Treffen, which comes from the Dutch word meaning “meeting of friends”. These gatherings are similar to motorcycle festivals, but with one important difference — they bring together owners of the legendary Gold Wing.

According to the calendar of the Gold Wing European Federation, each member country organizes its own Treffen. The goal is to develop motorcycle tourism in Europe and to introduce visitors to the culture of the host country.

The first international festival in Ukraine took place in 2008 in Lviv, bringing together 190 motorcycles, including 156 riders from GWEF member clubs. Ukrainian Treffen events are well known within the federation for their high level of organization and hospitality, and they have gained many loyal participants over the years.

Hosting international Treffen events is both an honor and a pleasure for Gold Wing Club Ukraine.
